Happy Friday Eve Loves!
I can’t believe that it’s about to be the last week of summer! I hope it’s been an amazing one for you all. Summertime is truly the best time, and I’m so not looking forward to saying goodbye. 🙁
As the summer comes to a close, I couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate it than paying homage to my absolute favorite fashion trend of summer 2017… the pom-pom trend. I just love the bold and cheerful look of this trend! If there’s ever a style that can make you smile, the pom-pom trend is definitely it! It’s fun and flirty, and is sure to make a statement.
Today I’m sharing one of my looks from my recent trip to Cuba (see more here), which features the pom-pom trend in all its glory. I may just have overdosed on pom-poms, but I think I was able to pull off the look without resembling an arts and crafts project. I’ll let you be the judge!
I bought this dress from Zara earlier in the summer, and luckily it still has a few sizes available (see outfit details below). I fell in love with its bright red color and gorgeous frilled sleeves.
Bauble earrings were everywhere this summer. This yellow pair makes for such great color contrast against the red dress. I added multicolored bracelets, printed sunnies, and a green pom-pom purse to the mix because… well, there’s no such thing as too many colors in my opinion!
These pom-pom sandals are undoubtedly my favorite item that I purchased this summer. It’s going to be very hard retiring them for the season when the warm weather bids adieu. Of course, the pom-pom purse comes in a close second.
The sunglasses were a last-minute but necessary addition to the look. I am obsessed with Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses! They have the most unique and daring styles, and this pair of sunnies will surely add some extra island flare to any vacation style. They complemented my pom-pom accessories well and were perfect for roaming the streets of Cuba.

I hope this vacation style post added some cheer to your day. Are you a fan of the pom-pom trend? What was your favorite summer 2017 fashion trend?
