Anyone else feels like the summer is flying by? I need someone to press the slo-mo button on summer becuase I’m so not ready for it to end. I just want to spend all my days rocking summer styles and soaking up the sun.
Speaking of summer style, I don’t even know where to start on this outfit. Be it the frilly top, the color-block chambray shorts, or these adorable espadrille wedges… head to toe, I love everything about this look.
Zara is hands down my favorite fashion brand! I discovered Zara while studying abroad in Spain in 2004 and we’ve had quite the romance ever since. I love their attention to design and unique style. I instantly fell in love with this top the moment I laid eyes on it earlier this Spring. There are so many fun details hapenning: off-the-shoulder, frills, bell sleeve… all current trend must-haves wrapped up into one pretty little thing.
But let’s talk about these espadrilles. Espadrilles are no doubt the shoes of the summer. I prefer espadrille wedges because of their versatility. They work well with just about any article of clothing and can be easily dressed up or down. I’m especially loving these espadrilles by Sperry Top-Sider because there are so comfortable. I love the way I’ve styled them here but they also pair well with sundresses, denim dresses, midi skirts and culottes. If you love mixing colors and prints as much as I do, you can go bold and pair them with a floral dress for a cool stripes and florals summer look.
