A seat in La Vie’s posh dining space overlooking The Wharf would certainly be a fabulous way to celebrate Mother’s Day, but equally impressive is its Mother’s Day menu. The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is offering a three-course brunch for $35 per person with some pretty delicious selections. Choose from items like lamb meatballs, lemon ricotta pancake, short rib hash, and tiramisu French toast. You’ll definitely want to order the lemon ricotta pancake as it’s one of the best pancake dishes in the area.

Four Seasons Washington DC
The Four Seasons Hotel, home to the most exquisite brunch in the DMV area, is serving up a four-course Mother’s Day brunch. The $65 per person brunch menu consists of smoked salmon mousse tartelette, pear and brie arugula salad, roasted half Cornish hen with potato and carrot tournées, and a chocolate tartelette for dessert.
Order ahead here for pick up on Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Be sure to add some sparkling wine to make it a bubbly affair!
With Jaleo’s Special Mother’s Day Menu, you can treat Mom to one of Chef José Andrés’ delicious paellas. The menu includes three paella options: a vegetable paella, a chicken and mushroom paella, and a chicken, sausage and lobster paella. Add a dozen roses ($38) to your order to make it an extra special affair… because nothing says “I Love You” like good food and flowers!

This new DC spot was all the buzz around town pre-pandemic, but thanks to their takeout options one can still enjoy their great food at home while social distancing.
